4.6 / 5 · 83 totalAbsolutely awful experience from start to finish with PestUK- avoid this company at all costs. I booked a technician to treat an obvious squirrel infestation in my house. The initial 'survey and treatment' took approximately 10 minutes, and consisted of traps being set in an inaccessible part of the loft, far from the entry point as "this was the only place the technician has access". After 4 days, the technician returned and removed the untouched traps and sealed the entry hole. Less than 24 hours later, the squirrel has ripped off the wire mesh which the technician had installed and was back inside. The technician attended for a third time to reinforce the mesh. However, had managed to trap the squirrel inside the property, causing a lot of noise and resulting in the squirrel chewing a new exit hole- causing additional damage to my property. At this point I had no faith in PestUK and decided to deal with the problem myself. I removed the fascia board next to the entry hole and immediately found a nest with 5 baby squirrels in. At no point was this communicated as potential as the technician has "tapped on the soffit board and didn't hear any squeaking". I removed the nest, replaced the fascia and dealt with the mother squirrel myself in the end. I will be referring the matter to BPCA as, by trapping the mother away from her kittens, PestUK contravened animal welfare laws through their negligence. Fortunately their blocking of the hole was shoddy and the mother got back in, else I'd have rotting squirrel carcasses in the eaves after the babies died of starvation. Equally demonstrated is that their 'guarantee' is not in fact such. I spoke to PestUK Director, Scott, and requested a refund as their technician's works neither correctly diagnosed, treated or prevented the issue. Something I managed in approximately one hour with no prior experience or training. His response was: "You will not get a refund; we should have just been aware. You cannot just get work done and then request a refund." Avoid at all costs. Have ago yourself, it's easier and less stressful than dealing with these lot.

what a waste of Time these guys have been , Guy come in didn't even inspect anything except under kitchen units , left the tray on last visit spent exactly 9 minute ,came this morning exactly same thing and spent 6 minute and remove all trays . have been sitting and wondering what we have paid £228 for . the exercise they have done I could have achieved in less than £10 by ordering via Amazon . Please don't use this service itsa Scam
