JL Pest Control Ltd

JL Pest Control Ltd is a pest control company based in Brighton and Crawley, serving Sussex. The company is led by James Lamprey, who has been providing pest control solutions in the Sussex area for the last decade. It offers bird deterrent systems for seagulls and pigeons, rodent control for rats, mice and grey squirrels, control of flying insects including wasps, moths, flies, hornets and bees, and control of crawling insects including spiders, ants, cockroaches and beetles.

The company works using the most humane methods possible and provides long term solutions rather than short term removal. It offers low cost maintenance contracts tailored to suit client needs, uses discreet and unmarked vehicles, and is available for local rapid response. The company has exceptional reviews on Checkatrade and Facebook.

Landlords and venue managers in Brighton describe a pest control service shaped by speed, clear explanations and careful follow-through. Response to enquiries is a point that comes up often, with costs set out upfront and follow-up visits explained rather than left uncertain. James and Jim are named repeatedly for their knowledgeable, down-to-earth manner, whether completing a full inspection to trace possible entry points or discussing options for pigeons overwhelming a rear section of a property and recommending a durable solution instead of a short seasonal fix.

The work covers wasp nest treatment, rodent and rat problems, and bird control, and reviewers repeatedly note that properties were left clean and that infestations did not return, including an attic nest where access points were sealed after removal. Practical prevention advice given alongside treatment, punctual visits and a willingness to attend in the evening are also valued. Fair, honest pricing and clear communication before and after each job feature across the accounts, and clients with several properties say they keep returning for that consistency.
