I highly recommend Edinburgh Environmental Services. Randomly over the last couple of months I've had a pigeon problem. The birds have been trying to nest and socialise under my solar panels. I decided to research bird protection options, I didnt realise how many were available. I got a number of quotes from different companies, for a variety of different protection options. I finally chose to go with EES, and their the under-panel spikes for their effectiveness and clean look. The spikes are securely attached by clips, making the installation incredibly sturdy and not affecting my solar panel warranty. The communication from Jack regarding the quote was great. There was absolutely no pressure, and Jack was happy to answer all of my questions, and there were a lot of questions. In fairness they were not the cheapest option available, but choosing a verified pest control company and them using quality equipment gave me complete peace of mind.The team cleaned the roof and guttering, leaving the entire area looking completely clean and tidy. The pigeons are officially not a problem, and the panels look fantastic. In all honesty you can barely see the spikes/protection and they look very neat, especially comparing them to mesh. It was an excellent investment. I would definitely recommend EES, friendly and helpful. A very professional finish and product.

Jack and Jordan visited us on 27/2/26 to investigate an issue we were experiencing with birds nesting on our roof. As they were carrying out work in our area on 13/5/26 they paid us a courtesy call to see if we were experiencing any further issues. Needless to say we weren't and our problem had been fully resolved. I feel we cannot thank EES and in particular Jack and Jordan, who as previously stated, were extremely courteous and professional. I recently had an issue with pigeons nesting under my solar panels. Jack dealt with the issue quickly and installed wire panels to prevent them returning. Very pleased with his work. Decent, reliable guy. Would definitely recommend

Brilliant- Jordan, Jack and all. Had so many issues getting a firm to take on a solar panel bird-proofing exercise that involved scaffolding. EES were brilliant, explained what would need done, the cost involved and got on with it quickly with great communication. Really pleased and would not hesitate to recommend them.
