Michael at Pestforce was brilliant from start to finish. I had an elusive rat problem and, unlike some of the bigger companies I contacted, this felt like a genuinely personal service — no call-centre bots, no being passed around, just clear communication and someone who actually cared about getting it sorted. He turned up on time, kept in touch throughout, and came back for multiple visits to make sure the issue was fully dealt with. Michael was professional the whole way through and really thorough — he looked at everything, checked all the right places inside and out (including drains), and explored every avenue before putting any poison down. It definitely wasn’t a “straight to bait” approach. The situation itself was tricky — a lot of the traps were being triggered without actually catching anything — but Michael stayed on it, adjusted the approach, and kept investigating rather than giving up or rushing it. He even went and spoke to neighbours to help build a fuller picture of what was going on. On top of that, he gave loads of practical advice that actually made sense, and he clearly knows his stuff. He also has great contacts for any additional work that might be needed, which was really reassuring. Most importantly, since Michael’s visits, it seems like the rats have been dealt with in a property that has had a problem in the past. If you want someone reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely hands-on, I’d 100% recommend Michael at Pestforce.
I 100% recommend Michael. He communicated efficiently and was such a reasonable price compared to other companies. He removed a trapped bird from my fireplace and even took it away to try and help it/ nurse it.
