Dave from Adept was very quick to visit my house after I had concerns about bites me and my daughter were getting. He was very thorough in his investigation and gave great advice. No hard sell for unnecessary treatment but instead he reassured me that there are options if needed. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for setting my mind at ease!

I contacted Adept when I smelt a dead animal and heard chewing under my house. Dave answered the phone and I was forever grateful. He certainly knows his stuff and came out very prompt. He looked all round our property and our neighbours and found where they were getting in. He said it would take 7 to 10 days to sort out the problem and he was certainly correct. Adept Pest Consultancy recently helped me out of a really tricky situation, involving pest issues caused by a neighbour. Not only were they professional, knowledgeable and very honest, they were also incredibly understanding and offered reassurance whenever I needed it. My issue went on over several months, due to environmental health having to be involved, and Dave was incredibly helpful and supportive during this time. Used another pest company prior to Adept who did not solve the issue. Would never use another pest company - will tell everyone to use Adept! Thanks so much!

We were blown away with the service from Dave when he took care of our flea problem. To say he was professional is true....but "professional" doesn't cover the depth of care that he combined with his expertise to deal with what had become a total head-stress. To backtrack: we acquired two kitties & the kitties acquired two fleas. Unfortunately those two fleas fell in love, had babies....& the rest was inevitable. Stupidly we didn't contact the pros at the start but instead spent a total of £80 on over-the-counter products, NONE of which, despite glowing Amazon reviews, worked. By the time we phoned around for a pro, we had "treated" the cats with Frontline & sprayed the house with 4 canisters of Indorex. Yet the cats were still scratching, & the tell-tale signs of infestation seemed worse than ever, so we found Adept via Google. From the first phone call it was clear how much Dave cares about the customer & the eradication of their problem, but what really surprised me was how much time he was willing to give before it was even agreed that we were customers. He spent 45 minutes in the first call explaining all the routes I could go down to solve the problem based on my own financial situation, & the possible outcomes of each proposal. Although he was clear that a professional 2-part treatment was my best hope of ridding myself of the problem, Dave was also willing to suggest ways in which I could try to be flea-free if I wasn't able to afford that, which really surprised me because it is such a generous approach from someone running a business! But the depth of his knowledge convinced me that I would be insane to go with anything other than pro-treatment, especially as his fee was extremely reasonable & far lower than I had expected. Thankfully Dave told me to send back the new batch of unused products I had ordered (another £60, which was thankfully refunded…& note that the total of all the useless products would have been in excess of his fee!) He went into detail about the science behind treatment & why the over-the-counter stuff hadn't worked (put simply, the concentrations of chemical required for successful treatment cannot legally be sold at consumer level because of the safeguarding needed to use them). He even said that if I wasn't sure whether my infestation was bad enough in reality (as I was so emotional that I didn't know whether the stuff I had done already really was or wasn't working) that he would come out to do an initial survey, the cost of which would then be deducted from his fee if we did hire him for the full treatment. He also made sure that I went first to get vet-prescribed cat treatment before he came to treat, because to treat the house without ensuring the cats were treated successfully would be futile. All the above speaks to his expertise, but what was also so note-worthy was his kindness & compassion in making me feel that he understood why I was so upset & emotional with it all. When he then came to complete the treatment, which takes place in 2 stages due to the life-cycle of a flea, he was every bit as excellent as he had been on the phone. The treatment was carried out efficiently, thoroughly, & cleanly, with maximum consideration given to our time-commitments & need to be in the house, as we both work from home. He also again gave generously of his time to answer a million questions on both visits, & on a further panicked phone call. The final result? Well, Dave eradicated every one of those fleas on his first visit, & on his second visit he obliterated any hope they might have had of popping up at a later date due to newly hatched eggs. To say we were relieved & delighted is an understatement!! Thank you so much Dave - you are total legend: loved by us & the cats.... & absolutely hated by flea populations all over Glasgow :-D!!!
